The bands (Oasis & Blur) met again this January at the NME Brat Awards. Liam baited Damon backstage when the duo were asked to pose for a photograph. Damon readily agreed but Liam refused, stood toe to toe with Damon and said: “I’ll tell ya. To your face. Your band’s full of shit. Right. So I’m not going to do a photo with ya.” Damon remained commendably cool as Liam again tried to wind him up saying, “You don’t honestly want a picture with me, do you? Well, I don’t really want one with you. I’m gonna have the ares and balls to say so.” But then, with impeccable timing and in front of two NME photographers, Graham Coxon planted a kiss on the cheek of a stunned Liam Gallagher. Source.
