Sofia F just reminded of these lyrics which I always loved. They remind me of Luciana, an old friend, the night we went to dinner at Sonoridad Amarilla for my bday in 2004.
I also remember her telling me she'd heard/ read an interview with Robert Smith where he said he was like a cat bc he slept a lot & really enjoyed drinking milk. This amuses me bc from then onwards, I've viewed tons of ppl in my life as cats. Well, kind of? Some ppl definitely remind me of cats. Physically or bc of their behavior. I realized that (most of) the ppl I'm attracted to have feline traits. Or perhaps the more I like someone, the more feline they seem to me? The same way when you love someone, they look beautiful to you.
Anyways, 1st it started with boys. I remember Lucy & I saying a certain boy I fancied was un gatito gordito, a chubby kitty. But we also said it about someone else, come to think of it. Nowadays, to me, most cute boys are like kitties. If they're sweet/ bashful, moreso. "ES UN MISI". He's a kitty. Misi is what I call kitties in Spanish. Comes from the word Micifuz. I am proud to say that several of my close friends have adopted the term, both for animals & human beings.
Note: Being attractive doesn't automatically make someone a "misi". I will expand upon this sometime in the near future, hopefully. I also hope to be able to revive this blog.
Bere. I've always used to think Bere as a cat.

I remember thinking it first day at university,, how she sat next to me, so quiet I didn't practically notice, and said "Hi. I'm Bere." And just looked at me. :)
I still remember that moment as one of the happiest in my life.
Her sense of humour too! So simple! Just like cats are.
I hope you will continue writing here. Reading your journal was so interesting always, back in the day. <3
