Not my favorite MSP song, but I got hooked when I 1st heard this version (called the Heavenly version bc it’s from when they were on that label. Very early stages of the band, right?), mainly due to the outro, which is borrowed from a rock classic any music fan will recognize ; ) I'm pretty sure “You love us” was one of their 1st singles, after “Motown Junk”…but I could be wrong.
“You love us (Heavenly version)”, Manic Street Preachers
I love the Heavenly Version much more than the album version. The video and the artwork are great too. I love watching the video over and over on the Forever Delayed DVD. Speaking of the artwork I love collages and it inspired a lot of my own artwork. <3
